The Solution
- Nutanix 4 node HCI block with Acropolis Hypervisor (AHV) and virtual Next Generation Firewall
- Half size 10GB switching for storage and core network
- Production VM’s built on test platform migrated to client’s environment prior to cutover
- Specifix engineering assisted client in the installation and configuration of HCI, firewall and switching
- Implemented Veeam Backup for Nutanix AHV
Outcomes Achieved
- Implemented an active-active data centre across two separate locations
- Delivered business continuity and disaster recovery (BCDR) planning through dual site implementation
